Hair Removal Treatments

Strip Wax

This is the most popular method of waxing. We use Australian BodyCare tea tree wax for this method of hair removal.Warm wax is smoothed onto the skin in a thin layer and immediately covered with a fabric or paper strip which is pressed/rubbed onto the waxed area before being removed in a quick swipe. Strip waxing is quicker than hot wax and larger areas can be waxed at one go.

Advanced Hot Wax

Hot wax is melted to a thicker consistency than strip wax. Applied to the skin with a wooden spatula, it coats the hair with a thick layer and hardens around the hair to grip it tightly. Once dry, the wax is flipped up at the corner and pulled off quickly by the therapist. Some people find hot wax less painful than strip wax as the heat allows the pores to open so hair is removed more easily and it is able to remove shorter hair than strip wax.It does take a little longer and requires a therapist with extra special training, so please be sure to specify when booking your appointment.

Tip: Gently exfoliating the night before your appointment will give better results! Hairs must be at least 5mm long for successful waxing.

Bikini Tidy – only the sides outside your underwear are waxed
Mini Brazilian – waxing for a higher cut bikini and a tidy up underneath
Brazilian – leaves a central strip but everything else is removed (except the very intimate areas)
Hollywood – everything is removed

Tip: for bikini areas, it will be much more comfortable if the hair is between 5–10mm so we recommend trimming before your appointment if they are too long.

Post-Waxing Tips

• Minimise skin irritation by applying aloe vera or tea tree to the treated area.
• You may wash the waxed area, but refrain from using harsh cleansers or creams for 24 – 48 hours.
• Stay away from hot showers, hot baths, sunbathing and tanning for at least 24 – 48 hours.
• Prevent ingrown hairs by avoiding exfoliation for 2 – 3 days and then exfoliating the area regularly
• Avoid shaving in between waxing treatments

St. Tropez Ultimate Air Spray Tan

This is a quick and easy way to get a safe, golden glow in a matter of minutes. It’s not an automated booth, so your therapist will make sure you leave with an even, streak free natural looking tan! St.Tropez works with your skin tone, and because of its ‘green undertone’ there is also no risk of looking orange. One less thing to worry about!

Top tip: for best results (and longer lasting tans) pay special attention to the following:

• Wax or shave at least 24 hours before your tan.
• Exfoliate and moisturise the night before.
• Do not have a hot shower/bath immediately prior to your spray tan.
• Wear loose, dark clothing straight after to allow the tan to develop evenly.
• Remember it takes at least 8 hours for the tan to develop and the tan is water soluble so avoid water until the tan has fully developed and you shower it off.
• Maintain your tan by moisturising regularly.

Eyelash Extensions

Nouveau Lash Eyelash Extension

The latest innovation in eyelash extension. Synthetic lashes that come in different lengths and thickness are attached to your natural lashes on a lash by lash basis.

A full set will last approximately 6 to 8 weeks dependant upon the individual. We do recommend regular top ups to maintain a full set of fabulous long, thick black lashes.

What are Nouveau Lashes?

Nouveau Lashes are semi-permanent lash extensions that are applied individually to your own natural lashes to achieve longer, thicker and fuller lashes. They are perfect for everyday wear as well as for special occasions.

How long will they last?

Nouveau Lashes are semi-permanent and will last the life of your natural lashes. The average cycle of a single lash is 60 days when it falls out and is replaced by a new lash. To maintain the fullness of your lash extensions, we recommend an infill treatment every week or two. Those who do not wish to maintain their lash extensions and only wish to have them for a special occasion, may let the lashes grow out naturally or have them professionally removed.

Are Nouveau Lashes comfortable to wear?

Nouveau Lashes are virtually weightless so you won’t even know you are wearing them.

Do Nouveau Lashes damage the natural lash?

No. Nouveau Lashes do not damage the natural lashes unless incorrect after care takes place and the lashes are deliberately pulled out.

How long does the treatment take?

A full application of Nouveau Lashes will take approximately 1 hour. Infills will take up to 30 minutes.

TOP TIP – Arrive with no eye make up and mascara on. Removal of eye make up can leave an oily residue on the lash and may result in the glue not adhering correctly.
